So yeah, Ann planned to give her mother a surprise birthday party this year. She told me about it the day before, and I agreed. Aunty Agnes could literally be my second mother; she saw me grow up with Ann, from primary school to high school, to college, and finally in university. But the thing I loved most about aunty Agnes was her cooking. Dayyyyuumm, that woman could cook a PUNCH! She cooks one of the best curries I’ve ever tasted. =D
When I arrived, aunty Agnes was sleeping, from the long day she had. Ann had also told me that she (aunty Agnes) had been hinting about her birthday (which was the next day) the entire day, while Ann pretended to be oblivious to what day it was gonna be. Ann also said that her mother was kinda on to their little surprise, and had suspected what they were gonna do.
But anyway. Originally, Ann suggested that we turn off the electric box in the house, and woke her mother up, telling her that we had a blackout, and that it was only their house that was effected. Then she would bring her mother downstairs, revealing the Baskin Robbins cake on the little table in the living hall. But that idea got discarded, and instead, Ann asked that we turn off the lights, and as she went to wake her mother up, we (Nesa, Prem & I) would hide in the kitchen, and appear when she came down.
This was Aunty Agnes’ reaction when she found out.
She kept thanking us for coming, and for surprising her.
Oh, and how could I forget to show you how the cake looks like? ^^
Cute^^ This tiny thing costs RM55. WHUT.
We each got a generous amount, and it tasted absolutely great. It’s ice cream cake, for cryin’ out loud. I sure as hell ain’t complainin’. xD Which reminds me, I forgot to give my share of the money to Ann. >_<
Everyone complimented the cake.
Oh, and here’s a picture of the cake AFTER we sunk our teeth in them.
Pretty pathetic looking, innit? xp
And on a completely different note, Ann and I spotted Joaquin taking his ‘sleeping spot’ under the food cover on the floor.
That is all. ^^
