I think for most people, this needs no introduction. This is the first time I’m speaking out about this, and I don’t normally speak my mind. But after watching countless videos about it (and maybe due to the fact that I just might be a drama-addict =p), I’ve decided to blog about it.
Watch this ‘preview’.
Now tell me that isn’t ridiculous.
I mean, you can go on hating and protesting all you want for all I care, but seriously… To disrupt a funeral?? Of dead soldiers who have died protecting the country, no less.
That is just plain disrespectful and sick. >_<
Normally, I wouldn’t give a rat’s ass if I see a group of people who are of different ideology protesting in the streets or something; I have nothing against it, and they’re not hurting anyone, so hey, let them do their thing.
But it’s the protesting and rickets at the funerals that really irk me off. In the time where people grieve for the dead, they’re actually thanking God that they’re dead. How sick is that?
And they claim that they only follow what the scripture says and blah blah blah. Well as far as I know (although I’m not a Christian of any kind, I know a few who will readily say so), in the Bible, it doesn’t encourage someone to hate gays or the people that back them up (or in their words, ‘fags’ and ‘fag enablers’).
I mean, seriously.. that’s so childish! It’s like during preschool or something, when we ‘don’t friend’ someone because they don’t listen to us.
Actually, to be honest, I don’t give a flying fuck about these people. But I just can’t get over the fact that they would stoop so low to the point of crashing a soldier’s funeral. I mean, these people (the soldiers) died protecting their country. They died for their country. Now would YOU WBC (Westboro Baptist Church) die for your ‘brothers & sisters’?
I don’t think so.
