Ahh, I guess I never really mentioned that either in my previous posts, have I?
Well let’s start from the beginning then…
Hello, I’m from Pahang, Malaysia!
We have four seasons here:
- Very Hot
- Very F****** Hot
I kid you not.
And the irony is, if I were to choose, I’d pick cold weather over hot any day. Which is why I’ve made the conclusion that I’ve been born into the wrong climate.
Make no mistake though; we DO have gorgeous places here.
BUT, in the city, the heat can get so intense sometimes, that even when it rains, you can feel the heat coming up from the roads.
Again, I kid you not.
I used to study at Perak, and students get to universities on bicycles there, mostly.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten wet from sweating after reaching university, before my hair can even dry from the shower I had before leaving the house.
And when it rains? Your feet feel warm as you race to paddle as fast as you can to reach home. Other times, we have to wait the rain out in university; other times, we’re not so lucky (and we all know mother nature has a lewd sense of humour), and get caught by the sudden downpour as we’re cycling home.
So yeah. HEY, I come from the land of HEAT! xD
